Lissadell House & Gardens, the Lissadell Estate is the jewel on the Wild Atlantic Way. Its 400+ acres comprising the incredible Neo Georgian house, magnificently restored gardens, and specially assembled Countess Markievicz exhibition gallery, and Yeats Family gallery is situate overlooking Sligo bay.  


Visit Eagles Flying, the IRISH RAPTOR RESEARCH CENTRE is a scientifically managed sanctuary for Birds of Prey and Owls, the sanctuary is home to about 350 birds and animals out of 75 species. Eagles Flying not only is a visitors attraction with its Flying Shows that are both fun and educational, they are also a sanctury for injured birds and wildlife.


Sligo Town's 340 seat Hawk's Well Theatre features a wide ranging program of music and entertainment such as comedy, drama, traditional music, jazz, opera, pantomime, dance and children's theatre.


Home to the The Yeats Society whose aim is to keep alive the memory of W.B. Yeats and encourage appreciation of his literary works. The Yeats Photographic Exhibition and the Yeats Art Gallery can also be found here.  The Yeats Society hold both a Winter and an International Summer School, celebrating WB Yeats works, attracting people from all corners of the world.WB Yeats final resting place in Drumcliffee is just a few minutes drive from Sligo City Centre.
