Sligo Southern Hotel and Leisure Centre is a fully supervised facility. Our friendly, professional staff are available at all times to assist you in the gym or in the pool. We are the only Sligo City Centre Hotel with a full Leisure Centre.

Reception Area

Comfortable and relaxing reception area where you can enjoy a cappuccino and chat to your trainer about your progress.

Gym

Our gym is equipped with a range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and our team of instructors are on hand to guide you through your workout. Our instructors will create a personalised programme that suits your individual needs and requirements.

Pool

The Sligo Southern Hotel & Leisure Centre boasts a deck level pool. Our pool also has a separate kiddie’s pool and is the perfect place to spend a few hours entertaining the family.

Sauna & Steam Room

Great way to relax and unwind, stimulates blood flow and promote healthy metabolism, ease muscle tension and joint pain, promote relaxation, eliminate toxins from the skin, and strengthen the immune system. During the winter months we add eucalyptus.

Our Team

Catherine, our Leisure Centre manager, specialises in all pool based activities, a fully qualified swim instructor and life saver, Catherine runs both our swimming lessons and swim clubs.

Kevin, Patrick and Chris are enthusiastic fitness personnel, who create individual fitness plans for our members.

Children under 16 years of age are not permitted to use the gym.

Classes

We also offer a number of classes including adult and children's swimming lessons. During the Holiday Seasons we offer Kids Camps for our younger guests and members. For details on any of the classes we have to offer, please call Catherine Brady on 071 91 62101.
